Glasses of Mine

These glasses of mine,
more precious than any rhyme,
They sparkle in the light,
making my curls a luminous bright,
they are magic you see,
so don't show me any sympathy,
I can see what others can't,
without muttering a chant,
none of that matters at all,
I'll even wear them to the ball.

My Favorite Holiday

my favorite hoilday,
would have to be christmas day,
not because of presents and toys,
but because the birth of our greatest joy,
our savior, messiah, redeemer,and friend,
our ultimate soul mate through the end,
he seems to hover around our hearts and praise,
the way he was born leaves us amazed,
he lay cradled near his mothers womb,
a more fitting place than a tomb,
birth is the beginning of his tale,
like breadcrumbs he left a trail,
so we could follow him, and be saved,
and leave the darkness of the earthly grave,
others will follow him and us,
as fear will finally be turned to dust.

City Of Bright Lights

I see a city full of bright lights,
I see a city full of delights,
for niether suffering or pain,
can last as long as a heavy rain,
in this splendid place,
where my heart starts to race and race,
my soul looks up at a brilliant blue,
unlike any other color or familar hue,
In this world where I cannot weep,
happiness is my gift to keep,
my soul vibrates with the most purest love,
I ride on the back of a winged dove,
It lifts me higher into his almighty throne,
through his kingdom I shall forever roam.

Happy Birthday Sarah!

I love my sister with all my heart,
she is pretty, kind, and very smart,
she knows my core, inside and out,
and everything I am all about,
I can trust her with my inner self,
she knows eveything I've ever felt,
I wouldn't trade her for anything,
she inspires my heart to sing and sing,
I am myself because of her,
all my troubles seem to blur,
when she's around I am my best,
and very very very blessed,
we may not always see eye to eye,
but she drys my tears when I start to cry,
with her laugh, her smile, her amazing wit,
she peices things back bit by bit,
now theres something special I have to say,
happy birthday,
because your one of a kind, and will always be,
my friend, my guardian, and, my heart's key.

Happy Father's Day!

Daddy, I love you so,
over the tides and tides we row,
you blow my fears away,
like the wind on a summer's day,
for me you will always be,
a vital piece of me,
that opens my heart to joy,
I hope your glad I'm not a boy,
your more precious that a mine of jewels,
your eyes are like two clear pools,
full of forgiveness and love,
I could give you a million hugs,
you lift my spirits so very high,
like two birds flapping in the sky,
you inspire my most guarded dreams,
we are a one-of-a-kind team,
I once was a block of clay,
Happy Father's Day!

Count The Stars

I love to count the stars,
in a sky as black as tar,
tiny dots of white,
forever shining bright.
I have the urge to fly,
through the infinitesimal sky,
for I too, am a star,
that has traveled very far.
Like the river that is always flowing,
love keeps me going,
We are meant to band together,
to form a nation that is better,
than any place on earth,
as we move on to our second birth.

My Mom is the Best!

My mom is the best,
better than all the rest,
in this world,
with those wonderful red curls,
Her smile is like the warmth of a thousand suns,
I love her tons, and tons,
to the moon and back, for her, I would go,
and every moon rock would be put on show,
she's more beautiful than an impressionist painting,
I don't care if she ever keeps me waiting,
she's very smart,
when you meet her you'll never want to part,
Her eyes see through the soul,
and without her I am not whole,
She's the rainbow after the rain,
a lifter of pain,
she'll capture your heart,
like cupid and his magic-dart,
so now you know what she means to me,
and with her I, myself, can be me.

End of Camp

This is a poem I wrote a long time ago, about camp:
(Did a little editing from the original poem,  and corrected errors.)

Camp is coming to an end,
once again,
but I know in my heart,
I have played my part,
and I made alot of good friends,
the good times never end,
so when your feeling all alone,
just pick up the phone,
 I am thinking of you,
and I know you are too,
don't be afraid of what's to come,
because we will never come undone,
our happiness will last,
this poem has been a blast!
