As Sara looks at the rainy day,
She smiles like a worker who just gets her pay,
as she's riding in the car,
she thinks about the kids who are popular,
They seem so sure of themselves,
Like the proudest book on the highest of shelves,
But they're really not,
while they're planning thier plot,
on the kids who are too nervous to speak,
So she stands up and go's to the kid she seeks,
"Your not the boss of them",
All the kids see her like a gem,
" Stop it right now!"
the kid says "WOW!",
She's so strong and bold,
the leather binder slips from this boy's hold,
he does a double take,
and sticks out a hand to shake,
his eyes are different now,
as he wonders how,
his actions were so wrong,
that he challenges every kid to ping-pong,
No matter how different you are,
don't doubt that your also a star,
and you can go very, very far.
I read the first poem. It is very good and explains very clearly how people think who believe they are different.
ReplyDeleteI plan to read all these lovely poems soon.
Great job.
